Dharmasthala: Just as excavation work was about to begin at the 11th identified spot in the Dharmasthala case, the complainant unexpectedly led the SIT team away from the marked site and deep into the surrounding forest.

This sudden move has sparked curiosity among locals as well as the investigating officers.

Excavation has not yet begun at the originally identified 11th location. The area into which the team was led is densely forested, and what exactly lies within remains unknown, adding further intrigue to the investigation.

Questions are now being raised: Has the complainant identified new potential sites, or is there some other angle to his actions? It remains to be seen what decision the authorities will take regarding which location to excavate next.

So far, despite digging at ten sites, human skeletal remains have been found at only one. In this context, there is growing speculation on whether the complainant is now pointing out more locations.
