IN-LAND receives tremendous response to its Property Mela 2021

Mangaluru: In-land Builders, one of Karnataka's premier property developers is receiving tremendous response to the third edition of its 20-day property mela being held at their premises, Inland Ornate, Nav Bharat Circle, Mangaluru.
The Mela was inaugurated on 8th Feb by Mangalore's senior most citizen Mr Joe Gonsalves and the founder of Daijiworld Media, Mr Walter Nandalike.
This Mela has proved to be very popular in its first two editions and this edition is no exception. Says Siraj Ahamed, Chairman & Managing Director of the In-land Group, "With all the pessimism floating around due to the COVID pandemic we had a big decision to take whether to hold the mela this time. But seeing how popular the In-land mela has always been we decided to back our instinct. Now our decision has proved to be correct. The response to this Mela is overwhelming. This is a good thing because this is indeed the best time for people to invest in property. The pandemic has revealed that most asset classes like shares, deposits etc are highly risky and only real estate is steady, safe and secure.

Since they are visiting us at our office the customer has all opportunity to interact not just with the sales team but also with accounts, legal and if need be with the MD himself. This gives a lot of confidence to the customer.

Sculptor Ram Sutar, designer of Statue of Unity, passes away
New Delhi (PTI): Noted sculptor Ram Sutar, known for designing the world's tallest statue — Statue of Unity — in Gujarat, passed away late on Wednesday night at his Noida residence, his son said.
He was 100 and ailing with age-related illnesses.
"It is with profound grief that we inform you of the passing of my father Shri Ram Vanji Sutar on 17th December midnight at our residence," his son Anil Sutar said in a note shared with the press on Thursday.

Born in a humble family in Gondur village under the Dhule district of present-day Maharashtra on February 19, 1925, Sutar is known to have been drawn to sculpting from his childhood.
A gold medallist from JJ School of Art and Architecture, Mumbai, Sutar, has to his credit a long list of achievements.
The iconic statues of Mahatma Gandhi seated in a meditating pose and of Chhatrapati Shivaji riding a horse on the Parliament premises rank among his finest creations.
The Statue of Unity honours Sardar Patel, country's first deputy prime minister and home minister.
Sutar was honoured with the Padma Shri in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016.
Recently, Sutar was conferred with the Maharashtra Bhushan Puraskar, the state's highest award.
