International career vision session engages students at Bearys Knowledge Campus
Mangaluru: A student development session was held at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT), Bearys Knowledge Campus, on December 30, 2025, at the International Seminar Hall, led by nationally and internationally respected educator, mentor, and career strategist Anees Kutty.
Kutty is the Founder and Director of Anees Defence Career Institute (ADCI), Pune, Aneespedia Education, Dubai, and Kutty’s Academy Pvt. Ltd., and is also associated with the Evergreen Education Foundation. With over 36 years of experience in education and career mentoring, he has successfully guided more than 700 students into various branches of the Indian Defence Forces. Widely recognised as a mathematician, polymath, aphorist, teacher trainer, and international career counsellor, his educational philosophy revolves around the principle of “Ideation to Execution.”
Addressing the students, Kutty emphasised the importance of career clarity, disciplined preparation, value-based decision-making, and developing a long-term vision for life.
The session was hosted by Fathimath Ramzeena, a second-year Computer Science and Engineering student.

Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar suspended from primary membership of party
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has passed an order suspending Member of the Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar from the primary membership of the party.
Shivakumar, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, has stated in his order that the MLC is to be suspended with immediate effect.
Jabbar is said to have been suspended for his alleged anti-party activities during the by-election to the Davanagere South Assembly constituency.
