Kasargod: Man dies by suicide after allegedly attacking wife with knife
A shocking incident was reported from Kuttikol in Kasargod on Friday morning, where a man allegedly attacked his wife with a knife before taking his own life.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh (45), an autorickshaw driver from Payadangana in Kuttikol. According to police, Suresh allegedly stabbed his wife Sini during a quarrel at home. The injured woman managed to escape and rushed to a neighbour’s house to alert them.
When neighbours came to check, they found Suresh hanging inside the house. Sini, who suffered knife injuries, has been admitted to the Kasargod hospital for treatment.
Badiadka police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Gill leads Gujarat Titans to 5-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders
Ahmedabad (PTI): Shubman Gill led from the front with a classy 86 as Gujarat Titans defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in an Indian Premier League match here on Friday.
Earlier, KKR all-rounder Cameron Green produced a fighting 79 off 55 balls to lift his side to 180 all out. In reply, Gill anchored the chase with a composed 86 off 50 deliveries as GT crossed the line in 19.4 overs.
The win marked GT's third successive victory after opening with two losses, while KKR's search for their first win of the season continues.
