Mangaluru: Two boys, who had gone missing after going to tuition class, have been located in Goa on Wednesday. Mangaluru police have contacted the Goa police.

Tanveer, son of Aburrahman-Jameela couple; and Abid-Kamaru couple's son Tanveez had gone missing on Tuesday.

Details of the incident:

High school students Tanveer and Tanveez were supposed to return from their tuition class at around 9 pm, but they did not return to their homes on March 5. When searched, they were located at the Surathkal Railway Station on Tuesday evening. Subsequently, a complaint was registered at the Surathkal police station.

Speaking to Varthabharati, Surathkal police inspector has said that the boys were found in the limits of Goa's Madgaon police station. "A Surathkal police constable, along with parents of the students, have rushed to Goa. The process is on to bring the children back," he added.

Mangaluru (PTI): Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader on Sunday finished fourth in a dirt track racing event organised by the Indian Motor Sports Club here.

Driving a Volkswagen Polo GT, Khader narrowly missed a podium finish, ending just seconds behind the third-place finisher.

An avid motorsport enthusiast since his college days, Khader has participated in several racing events involving both motorcycles and cars.

Organisers said his performance on the dirt track was consistent with his previous racing record.

Speaking informally after the event, Khader said he continues to follow motorsport and enjoys driving, describing the experience as a "refreshing change" from his official responsibilities.

The Dirt Prix event saw participation from multiple racers and was aimed at promoting grassroots motorsport.
