Kundapur: Bus collides with parked innova, driver killed on spot
Kundapur: A road accident occurred near Arate Bridge on Monday night when a private bus collided with a parked Innova, resulting in the death of the car's driver.
The deceased has been identified as Nasir Siddique, a resident of Musa Nagar, Bhatkal. Siddique was returning to Bhatkal from Mangaluru after visiting a hospital with his family. Around 8:45 p.m., upon hearing a strange noise from the vehicle, he pulled over to the roadside to inspect and repair it. At that moment, a bus traveling from Kundapur to Gangolli collided with the car's door, causing Siddique severe injuries. He succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the hospital.
The Gangolli police have registered a case, and PSI Harish R. along with his team has visited the scene for further investigation.

Delhi airport: 97 flights cancelled, over 200 services delayed due to fog
New Delhi (PTI): A total of 97 flights were cancelled and over 200 delayed due to low visibility conditions amid fog at the Delhi airport on Sunday.
An official said 48 arrivals and 49 departures were cancelled at the airport.
According to latest information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, more than 200 flights were delayed and the average delay time was around 23 minutes for departures at the airport.
In a post on X at noon, Delhi airport operator DIAL said operations are running smoothly.

DIAL operates the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), the country's largest airport that generally handles around 1,300 flights daily.
Flight operations have been disrupted for the past many days at Delhi and other airports due to dense fog.
