Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District In-Charge Minister, Kota Srinivas Poojary on Wednesday asserted that the District Administration will take a call on relaxing the lockdown in the District, after a high-level meeting on Thursday. He added that the meeting will be attended by MP, MLAs, and senior officials of District Administration.

Usually, more than 2 thousand people gather for fishing activities at Bunder. Therefore we required to take a careful step. Subsequently, the issue has to be discussed with the leaders of fishermen community” he noted.

He also added that the decision will also be taken on relaxing the lockdown and allowing Garage, Dhaba, Courier Services, Plumbers, Electricians and Carpenters to operate. He later added that it was mandatory for everyone to abide by the regulations set out by the District Administration.
