Mangaluru: Dr. Mohan Alva, President of Alvas Educational Institutions on Wednesday informed that the Alvas Nudisiri and Virasat that was scheduled to be held in November this year has been postponed.

The move comes in line with the flood situation in the state that has affected about 23 Districts causing an estimated loss of 32 thousand crores.

Earlier the extravaganza event was set to be held on 16, 17 and 18 November which has now been postponed to an unannounced schedule.

Mullanpur (PTI): Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in their Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday.

Invited to bat, opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 59 up front while Marcus Stoinis provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls as Punjab Kings posted 222 for 4.

The Royals then put up a collective batting effort to overhaul the target with four balls to spare.

Earlier, leg spinner Yash Punja picked up two wickets for the visitors.
