Mangaluru: The Graduation Ceremony of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) and Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School (BEADS) will be held at 10:00 AM, on Sunday, 27 Dec at Bearys Arena, Bearys Knowledge Campus, Inoli, Mangalore.
The graduation day will be held for Architecture Undergraduates 2015 batch of BEADS, Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates of 2016 and 2018 batch respectively.
The Academic Topper and Best Outgoing Students of Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering will also be honoured for their achievements. The successful students Diploma Civil and Mechanical students of 2017 Batch will also be felicitated during the grand event.
The eminent personalities gracing the occasion will include, Professor and Author, Dr Valerian Rodrigues, who has the distinction of serving Mangalore University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and several foreign universities including Erfurt University, Wuerzburg University, Simon Frazer Univesrity amongst others.
Other distinguished personalities include Dr.Deepika Shetty, Director and Professor, Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Manipal and Mr Ganesh Poojary, Vice President of Lodha Group, Mumbai. He has the distinction of being recognized as one of the Top 100 Great People Managers by the Forbes India magazine for 2020.
Former Minister and Mangaluru MLA UT Khader will deliver a special address. Mr. Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman, Bearys Group Academy of Learning will preside over the function.
The other dignitaries include Mr. Mazhar Beary, Trustee, Bearys Group, Principal of BIT, Dr. Manjur Basha SI, Dr. Aziz Mustafa, Director, BIT Polytechnic, Ar. Ashok L.P Mendonca, Principal, BEADS and Heads of Departments of various departments.

Bengaluru (PTI): Karnataka Lokayukta officials on Tuesday conducted searches on properties belonging to government officials in various parts of the state, on the suspicion that they have possessed assets disproportionate to their income, official sources said.
The searches and verification of documents are on against at least four officials from Shivamogga, Mandya, Dharwad and Vijayanagara districts, the sources added.
Those being searched include a Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation official in Shivamogga and a health department official in Vijayanagara district.
