Mangaluru: Car gutted in fire accident on NH 75 at Adyar
Mangaluru: A fire broke out inside a BMW car with a New Delhi registration when it was traveling on the National Highway 75 near the Sahyadri College at Adyar on the outskirts of Mangaluru on Saturday.
No casualty is reported in the fire accident, which occurred due to a short circuit inside the car. The driver of the vehicle escaped danger as the flames gutted the car, but he is not found yet.
The fire brigade was called for help immediately as the fire was sighted, but the tenders did not arrive at the spot for at least 30 minutes.

9 killed, 10 wounded in South African pub shooting
Johannesburg (AP): Nine people have died, and at least 10 others were wounded after a group of gunmen carried out a shooting at a South African pub during the early hours of Sunday, authorities said.
The incident occurred just before 1 am in the township of Bekkersdal, which is located 46 kilometres (28 miles) west of Johannesburg. It is the second mass shooting to happen in South Africa in three weeks.
About 12 unknown suspects in a white mini-bus and a silver sedan opened fire at pub patrons at KwaNoxolo tavern, in the Tambo section of Bekkersdal and continued to shoot randomly as they fled the scene, according to police.
