Mangaluru: The Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry ‘Rachana’ organized a talk on mind-mapping and work-life balancing at the MCC Bank Hall in the city on Thursday.
Eminent speaker Dr. Sarfaraj J Hasin, who was invited for the program, advised the audience, “You are the best person to influence and decide on your life. Think positive and your subconscious mind will support the positive thoughts. If you think negatively, the same will affect your life.”
He insisted that we lay stress on forgiving and loving each other. “Think positive thoughts and your personality will change forever,” he reminded.
Rachana President Vincent Cutinha welcomed the gathering. Governing body member Charles Pais introduced the speaker, while another member Leslie Rego compered the event.
Around 60 people attended the program held by Rachana. Professor Joselyn Lobo, Donnet D’Souza and CMD of MCC Bank Anil Lobo were also present.

The deceased, Jagdish Prasad Sharma, 75, who lived alone, had gone to sleep in his house on Monday night, officials said.
On Tuesday morning, his blood-soaked body was lying on a cot, with marks on his head and body indicating blows from a sharp-edged weapon, they said, adding that the police suspect murder.
Police and forensic teams reached the spot upon receiving information and sent the body for a post-mortem, they said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Ramanand Kushwaha said that Sharma, a retired Health Department employee, had been living alone since his wife's death during the COVID-19 pandemic.
