Mangaluru: Pandeshwar police arrests one in connection with murder at park near state bank
Mangaluru: Pandeshwar police on Monday cracked the murder case of a man who was found murdered near SBI earlier last week. Police arrested Lingappa (38), a resident of Kateel in connection with the murder.
On Wednesday, Sharath, a resident of Ballalbagh of Mangaluru was found murdered in a park near state bank, with his face brutally smashed with stones and rocks to destroy his identity.
It is said that the accused murdered Sharath under the influence of Alcohol and several others were involved in this murder. The police have now launched manhunt to locate and arrest the other accused of the murder.
Investigations revealed that Sharath was murdered on May 7 night and was crushed by stones and a slab of cement. Pandeshwar Police is further investigating the case.

Over 270 flights delayed, 10 cancelled at Delhi airport
New Delhi (PTI): At least 10 flights were cancelled and more than 270 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport due to fog and low visibility conditions on Tuesday.
An official said 6 arrivals and 4 departures have been cancelled for the day.

Over 270 flights have been delayed and the average delay time for departures is 29 minutes, as per information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com.
"Visibility at the airport is improving; however, flight departures for certain destinations may experience delay," Delhi airport operator DIAL said in a post on X.
The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.
