Mangaluru: Police Commissioner Dr. PS Harsha on Wednesday conducted a rowdysheeters parade at the Police Samudaya Bhavan, where according to the commissioner the repeated offenders were ‘firmly warned’ of strict legal action against them if they are found involved in any illegal activities.

The exercise was in-line with ensuring the maintenance of law and order in the region. Over 355 repeated offenders and history sheeters were summoned to the Police Samudaya Bhavan in the city on Wednesday.

The police addressed the offenders and warned them against their involvement in any illegal activities or activities that will risk the law and order in the region.

Harsha in a humanitarian gesture also offered help in providing livelihood to the offenders if they refrain from illegal activities and ‘demonstrate good behavior”.

Mullanpur (PTI): Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in their Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday.

Invited to bat, opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 59 up front while Marcus Stoinis provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls as Punjab Kings posted 222 for 4.

The Royals then put up a collective batting effort to overhaul the target with four balls to spare.

Earlier, leg spinner Yash Punja picked up two wickets for the visitors.
