Mangaluru: Renowned Kannada Columnist, Writer and Activist, Shivsundar on Wednesday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adding that the nation in its history has not had a more liar Prime Minister as that of Modi.

Speaking at the anti-CAA, NRC protest in Mangaluru on Wednesday, Shivsundar said “The very first word Modi speaks in his speech is a lie. He says ‘Mitron’, meaning friends. He call us friends and he stabs us directly too. So we are not his friends and the word Mitron is a lie”.

Shivsundar further came down heavily on Mangaluru Police for messing up peaceful protest against CAA and NRC on December 19 in the city and shooting down two people Abdul Jaleel and Nousheen. He opined that protests have been happening in all parts of the country but violence and police firing have only been reported from BJP ruled states.

“People are taking to the streets in every part of the country but police action and firing incidents are only reported from BJP ruled states. In states ruled by non-BJP government the police don’t even finds need of lathi charge.

“This is happening because in BJP ruled states, the police are getting orders from Republic of Kalladka and Republic of Nagpur. They are not working on the orders of Republic of India. Lakhs of people are taking to the streets and they are not being lathi charged. But two hundred people took to the streets in Mangaluru and the local police resorted to gunning them down. This happened because the order came from Republic of Kalladka” Shivsundar added while taking a dig at Kalladka Prabhakar, hardcore RSS leader of Coastal Karnataka and the RSS whose headquarters are based in Nagpur.

He also blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the killing of Nousheen and Abdul Jaleel adding that the PM and HM had created an atmosphere of fear and panic among the people of the country by introducing NRC and CAA and that is what prompted Jaleel and Nousheen to out on streets protesting against it.

Shivsundar further slammed the RSS ideology adding that if they were the real followers of Swami Vivekananda, they should follow what he actually preached and should implement his idea of India.

Warning Modi and Amit Shah of the public ire Shivsundar noted that only the citizens of the country, the tax payers were the owner of the country and that Prime Minsiter, Home Minister, President and every other official was servant to them.
