Mangaluru's Nihal Mohammed secures 7th rank in Jamia Millia Islamia’s LLM entrance exam
Mangaluru: Nihal Mohammed from Mangaluru has secured the seventh rank in the national-level entrance examination for the LLM Master’s degree conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Nihal is the son of Abdul Nizar and Khalisa Nizar. He completed his BA LLB degree from Aligarh Muslim University after finishing his PU from St. Aloysius PU College in Mangaluru.
He has also served as the Dakshina Kannada District President of student organisation SIO.

TMC MP Mahua Moitra accuses Union Minister Shantanu Thakur of issuing passes for Beef smugglers
New Delhi: TMC Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra recently tweeted about Union Minister Shantanu Thakur, accusing him of issuing official passes for smugglers at the Indo-Bangladesh border. The tweet, accompanied by a photo of the passes, claimed that they permitted the smuggling of 3 kgs of beef. Moitra tagged the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (HMO) in the post. She also poked at the Gau Rakshak Senas and Godi Media.
Taking to X Mahua share a purported official letterhead of Shantanu Thakur addressed to 85th Battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) issuing permission to transport beef.
According to reports, BJP’s Bongaon MP Thakur is under fire from opposition parties for allegedly issuing permission on his MP letterhead for conducting various business in the India-Bangladesh border area.
