Mangaluru: Police Tuesday interrogated four persons in connection with the murder of a married woman, Shrimathi Shetty, informed the sources.
The woman was brutally killed, and her head was placed at Kadri, and her body parts were found in Nandigudda on Sunday, while parts of her leg have not been traced out yet.
Three teams formed: Considering the woman's murder case seriously, Police Commissioner Dr. Sandeep Patil has instructed to form three teams to probe the case and speed up the investigation. Police have subjected several people to the inquiry and perused the information.
Husband inquired in jail: An investigation team interrogated the Shrimati Shetty's second husband, Sudeep, at Mangaluru Sub Jail in connection with the murder.
Several cases related to theft incidents were registered against Sandeep at various police stations in the City, following which he has been sent to the jail. It has been learnt that Sandeep had threatened Shrimati as there were some issues in their family matters.
CCTV Footage: The woman was running a fan repair shop near Attavara. Shrimati, who always used to use her car to reach the shop, came on a scooter on Saturday. A CCTV footage shows that she proceeded towards Gorigudda on her scooty on Saturday.
Scooter found near Naguri: According to police sources, the scooter of the deceased was found in Naguri in the City.

New Delhi (PTI): At least 10 flights were cancelled and more than 270 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport due to fog and low visibility conditions on Tuesday.
An official said 6 arrivals and 4 departures have been cancelled for the day.

Over 270 flights have been delayed and the average delay time for departures is 29 minutes, as per information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com.
"Visibility at the airport is improving; however, flight departures for certain destinations may experience delay," Delhi airport operator DIAL said in a post on X.
The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.
