Bantwala, September 21:  MLA U. Rajesh Naik flagged off the service of the non-AC sleeper coach bus from BC Road to Bengaluru, at the BC Road KSRTC bus stand on Friday.

Speaking to reporters, the MLA said that the BC Road KSRTC bus stand was not yet taken off. Steps would be taken to construct a circle and upgrade the road to ensure free movement of the buses and people. Apart from this, the commercial shops would be developed to attract the businessmen, for which a project was being prepared with the help of the officials.

The bus which leaves BC Road at 9.30 pm would reach Bengaluru via Bantwala, Karinje Cross, Murje, Punjalkatte, Madanthyar, Belthangady, Dharmasthala and the same bus would leave Bengaluru at 11 pm. The passengers could book their tickets online. The bus would give stop at Bantwala, Manihala, Karinje Cross, Kavalkatte, Murje, Punjalkatte, Madanthyar, Maddadka and Guruvayanakere, said KSRTC divisional controller Nagaraj Shirali.

Depot manager P. Ismail, Assistant Superintendent Lio Anthony Tavro, Accountant Poornesh, Chargeman Praveen Kumar, Assistant Ramesh Shetty, BJP leader Sulochana G. K. Bhat, BJP taluk president Devdas Shetty, Leaders Ramanath Rai and others were present.

Mumbai: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday, April 11.

She has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where she is currently undergoing treatment. According to reports, she has been shifted to the Emergency Medical Services unit of the hospital. Doctor Pratit Samdani confirmed her admission, news agency IANS reported.

Bhosle, 93, is regarded as one of the most iconic and versatile voices in Indian music, with a career spanning over seven decades. She has recorded thousands of songs across multiple languages and genres.
