Moodbidre: In a hearth breaking incident, a mother and his son died on the spot while several others sustained injuries in a crash between Innova and Omni car.
The deceased have been identified as Somashekhar (45) and his mother Ratnamma (70), residents of Thirthahalli.
The accident occurred when an Innova car rammed into Omini near Nellikaru around 7 AM today. The Omini van, which was reportedly carrying nine persons including Somashekhar and Ratnamma, was proceeding towards Dharmasthala from Thirthahalli.
Dead bodies have been shifted to Moodbidre government hospital. Moodbidre police have registered a case in this regard.
