Mangaluru, June 30: The Company is facing a financial crisis. The company which is in the process to borrow bank loans will begin works immediately after the loan is sanctioned, said a Navayuga company’s official.

The officer revealed this at a meeting held in the DC office with minister UT Khader, National Highway Authority, officers of the National Highway Department and the Public Works Department on Saturday.

“Thokkottu and Pumpwell flyover work are not finished yet. Already a tollgate has been created and started collecting the toll charges. Also, the public is facing trouble near the flyover. Though the problem is getting worse, they are not trying to find a solution. Whenever a meeting was called, you skipped it postponing dates repeatedly. Why so? What is the problem with you?” Minister Khader asked.

Speaking at the occasion, the Navayuga Company's officials said that the company is facing a financial crisis. Work would begin soon after the loan is sanctioned. Unsatisfied with his answer, Deputy Commissioner Sasikant Senthil said “tell it directly if you can not handle the contract. The National Highway Authority is also responsible for delaying the work. He also warned that if an accident occurs on the highway in the wake of the delay in work, a situation may come where the contractor might be charged with murder.
