Padubidri businessman dies in train accident in Mumbai
Padubidri, November 30: A hotel businessman from Padubidri died in a Metro train accident in Mumbai on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rajanikanth Rai (48) of Tenkumane in Nandikur. When he was going after alighting the Metro train at Jogeshwari Metro Station in Mumbai, another train hit him killing him on the spot.
After completing his graduation in Vijaya College in Mulki, he has gone to Mumbai and started his hotel business. He was involved in religious, educational and social service besides serving as the office-bearer of Nandikur Alumni Association and Nandikur School Mumbai Committee.

One killed as balloon gas cylinder explodes in Mysuru
Mysuru (Karnataka) (PTI): A balloon seller was killed and four others injured in a balloon gas cylinder explosion here on Thursday, City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar said.
According to her, the accident happened near the entrance of the Karnataka Exhibition Authority in the city.
Police had earlier said two persons died in the incident.
The balloon seller, appearing to be a 40 year-old man, was killed instantaneously while four others suffered injuries.
The condition of the injured is critical, she told reporters.
According to police, a large number of people had arrived for the exhibition due to Christmas vacation.
