Prathibha Kulai defamation case: Accused surrenders before court
Mangaluru: A man accused of posting defamatory remarks against social activist and KPCC coordinator Pratibha Kulai on social media has surrendered in court.
K R Shetty, the second accused in the case, surrendered on Thursday, with the intervention of his advocate, said sources.
Mangaluru Police Commissioner M Shashi Kumar said, “The officer investigating the case has requested that the accused be remanded in judicial custody. The court order is awaited.”

Belthangady: The family of late Ramlan Ajhari rebuilt the house of the late Ramlan Ajhari in a program held by Dakshina Kannada District Janiyyatul Muallimin in the premises of Kajur Perdadi Ajmer Khaja Juma Mosque on Thursday.
