Udupi: A motorcycle rider was killed on the spot after being struck by a bus on National Highway 66 near Nittoor Petrol Station this evening.

According to reports, a private bus traveling from Udupi to Brahmava collided with the motorcycle ahead of it.

Consequently, the bus's wheel ran over the motorcyclist, causing him to fall onto the road. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot, the reports added.
