"Public awareness needs to be created against privatisation of Airport and New Mangaluru Port"
Mangaluru, Jan 12: The central government is willing to privatise the New Mangaluru Port and Mangaluru Airport which was built by the far-sighted politician Ullal Shrinivas Mallya. Public awareness needs to be created to save them and respect the services of Shrinivas Mallya, Minister UT Khader said.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Ullal Srinivas Mallya Memorial Award Presentation Ceremony organised by Mangaluru Municipal Corporation at the Town Hall here on Saturday.
