In response to a recent incident in Mangaluru where a bus conductor tragically lost his life after falling from a moving bus, an awareness program focused on safety was conducted in the city, targeting bus owners, drivers, and conductors.

During the event, informative materials outlining safety protocols were distributed to the attending bus conductors. Among the key safety guidelines emphasized were the prohibition of standing on the footboard of buses for all passengers, including conductors.

Additionally, drivers and conductors were advised to treat all passengers with respect, ensure that every passenger receives a ticket, refrain from denying passengers the use of 'Chalo cards,' and avoid using loud or harsh horns while operating the buses.

The program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of adhering to safety measures within the public transportation system and promoting the well-being of passengers and staff alike.
