Shepherds' International Academy organises Graduation Day for Montessori-3 students
Mangalore, 19th March 2022 (Press Release): The Shepherds’ International Academy, Attavar, Mangalore (Unit of Hikmah Educational Trust), the well known Nursery & Primary School in the city, celebrated Graduation Day for their Montessori-3 students on Monday 19th March 2022 at HIF_INDIA Auditorium in Vaslane filled with grandeur, fun and fervor marching ahead from Baby steps to first leap.
Dr. Roshan Shetty MBBS, MS, DNB (G.I. Surg), FACS (US), Director, Consutant Surgical Gastroenterologist & Bariatric Surgeon at City Hospital graced the event as Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts of the Shepheerds’ Int’l Academy and the teachers observing the performance by the students.
Chairman of the school Ar. Mohammed Nisar, Principal Lubna Banu and CAO Hasan Yusuf participated in the event.
The programme was hosted by Miss. Aliza Khalid of Mont-3, welcoming the gathering was done by Mrs. Sajida Fathima. Programme was convened by Mrs. Sumayya Shaikh and Mrs. Sameera Sharief. Mehreen Mujeeb Shaikh of Mont-2 along with the friends felicitated her seniors. Mrs. Sana Mariam, one of the parent spoke few words of her experience about the Shepherds International Academy.Vote of thanks was delivered by Master. Mohammed Feliz.
It was fun filled Graduation Day Celebration put up by the children with energy, passion and gratitude. Graduation Certificates and Medals were distributed by the Chief Guest, Chairman, Principal and CAO to Mont-3 students as the little stars take a leap to the next step. Children enjoyed taking the selfies in the selfie frame. The whole programme was supported by the teaching staff and nonteaching staff. The correspondent of the school announced that Admission in Shepherds’ is open for 2022-23 for Nursery & Primary Classes (MONTESSORI – 1, 2 & 3 and Grade – 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Metro services begin in Bhopal; excited residents flock to take rides, selfies
Bhopal (PTI): On the first day of the commercial run of the Metro services in Bhopal on Sunday, hundreds of residents enthusiastically took rides, expressing confidence that it will save time and provide relief from traffic jams.
An official said that the Metro’s first service began at 9 am from the AIIMS station, and by 6 pm, 5,731 people had travelled on the new mass-transit corridor.
He said that people, along with their family members, had been lining up for tickets since early morning. Several users were seen taking selfies and photos inside the Metro rakes and at stations.

Earlier on Saturday, Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Metro service by flagging off a train from Subhash Nagar station on a 7.5-kilometre stretch, called the “Priority Corridor”.
With this, Bhopal became the 26th city in the country and the second city in Madhya Pradesh, after Indore, to have the Metro service.
Rao Singh, who took a Metro ride, told PTI Videos that besides saving time and money, the new mode of transport will provide relief from traffic jams and pollution.
Another passenger, who identified himself as Chetan, said he was happy that Bhopal is now on the “Metro list”.
Office-goers will benefit a lot due to the Metro service, said a young man named Akshay.
While the estimated cost of the 30.8-km-long Bhopal Metro project is Rs 10,033 crore, a sum of Rs 2,225 crore was spent on the ‘Priority Corridor’, according to officials.
