Udupi: BJP General Secretary and Udupi-Chikmagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Saturday shared copies of document of a sale deed between senior Congress leader Zameer Ahmed Khan and MD of IMA Group of Companies which is in headline due to alleged cheating and fraud case of worth more than one thousand crores.

Sharing pictures of the documents on her twitter handle, Shobha demanded CBI probe into the matter as name of senior Congress leader Zameer Ahmed Khan has popped up into it.

She further claimed that many other ‘bigwigs’ are also part of the scam which makes the CBP probe the ‘only ray of hope for the thousands of victims of the scam’.

“As I always said, the deals b/w Zameer Ahmed & #IMAFraud Mansoor Khan is out, many other bigwigs are also part of this scam. I strongly demand the investigation to be handed over to CBI, which is the only ray of hope for the thousands of victims of #IMAJewelsScam” Shobha posted.

In a similar post, the official twitter handle of state BJP had shared the same imaged and had posted that “Victims of IMA jewellery fraud will be denied justice if investigating is carried out under the watch of @hd_kumaraswamy govt” while demanding for CBI probe of the scam.
