Sullia: Minor boy upset over family pressure to attend school allegedly hangs himself to death
Sullia: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 17-year-old boy identified as Hanseef, took his own life by hanging himself at his residence in Biliyar, Aranthodu village of Sullia taluk. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, leaving the community in shock and sorrow.
Hanseef, the son of late Musa and Shamira, had been at home alone on Monday night, as his mother was away in Kozhikode for his sister's medical treatment. During this time, he reportedly called his grandmother and expressed his intent to end his life. Tragically, on Tuesday morning, Hanseef's uncle discovered his lifeless body at the house.
Sources indicate that Hanseef's suicide may have been driven by feelings of frustration. It is believed that he was often encouraged by family members to attend school regularly, as he had been skipping classes and showing disinterest in academic pursuits.

Rajnath meets Chinese Defence Minister Dong in Bishkek
New Delhi (PTI): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday held talks with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun on the margins of a multilateral conclave in Bishkek.
It is learnt that the two ministers reviewed the overall situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
"It was a pleasure to interact with the Defence Minister of China Admiral Dong Jun during the SCO Defence Ministers' Meeting in Bishkek," Singh said on social media.
There is no official word yet on what transpired during the talks between Singh and Dong.
The defence minister also met his Russian counterpart Andrei Belousov.
"Great interaction with Russian Defence Minister, Andrei Belousov during the SCO Defence Ministers' Meet in Bishkek," Singh said.
Singh landed in the capital city of Kyrgyzstan on Monday to attend the conclave of defence ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
