Three-year-old boy drowns in water tank near home in Kasaragod
Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old boy named Muhammad Souhan Habib, the son of Naushad, a farmer from Bedradka, drowned after accidentally falling into a water tank near his home on Sunday evening. The incident took place at Bedradka Kambar in Kasaragod district.
The child had been playing in the front yard of his house when he suddenly went missing. Worried family members began a frantic search for him. After a desperate search, his body was discovered in a water tank located around 200 meters from the house.
A case has been registered at the Kasaragod Town Police Station in this regard.

Kerala tourist found dead in Sanapur Lake in Gangavathi taluk
Gangavathi, Koppal: A 34-year-old tourist from Kerala was found dead in a lake near Sanapur in Gangavathi taluk on Friday. The police have identified the deceased as Cyril Jose.
According to the police, Jose was staying at Basapur and had gone out on December 17 to explore nearby places. When he failed to return, a missing complaint was lodged the next day. A search operation was launched following the complaint.

After two days of efforts, Jose’s body was recovered floating in Sanapur lake. Preliminary findings suggest that he drowned, though the exact circumstances are yet to be ascertained, as reported by Deccan Herald.
