Udupi: As the Congress has conceded the Udupi- Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency to JDS, people have kept their fingers crossed to know who will get the JDS ticket.
Responding to this, the district Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor said that as per his knowledge the seat-sharing process was not completed yet. If Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency has been given to the JD (S), all workers of the party will be working for the contesting candidate, as per the High Command's instruction. I do not know who is the JDS candidate, he said.
When contacted JDS district President Yogesh Shetty Kapu regarding the JDS candidature, he said, "senior leaders Bhojegowda, YSV Datta, Dharmegowdru are the ticket aspirants", adding that he was also a JDS ticket aspirant.
