Bengaluru, September 5: “BJP people have been trying to expose the 2019 Lok Sabha election as the election between Hindus and Muslims and Rahul and Modi. But in reality, it would be the fight between truth and false, justice and injustice, Constitution and Manusmriti”, said JNU students leader Umar Khalid.

Speaking at the Freedom of Expression convention here on Wednesday, he said that he hoped that the people of the country would elect the truth, justice and the Constitution in the election. Their fight was not against Narendra Modi and BJP. But it was against the anti-human Manuvadi organization. Before her murder, Gauri Lankesh was called as anti-Hindus. For the last two and half years, he was being treated as traitor. Prove the charges leveled against him in any court of law in the country. He had  never shouted anti-India slogans. “For attack on me, those two persons who brought guns were not responsible. Instead, the Central governments, spokespersons of the government and news anchors of some television media were directly responsible for it. I am not a traitor. Those who banned the old notes overnight and failed to bring the black money back to the country, are real traitors. Those who cheat the farmers and labourers and make benefit to Ambani and Adani were real traitors. Those who had promised of creating 2 crore job opportunities in 2014 election were real traitors”, he alleged.

The central government has sufficient money to write off the loans of corporate companies. But it does not have money to waive of the farmers loans and thus forcing the farmers to commit suicide. They were the real traitors. Those who attack on dalits, tribals, brand people who raise voice against the suppressed people as urban naxals, and taking the rape and murder accused in a procession were real traitors, he alleged.

When someone asked Narendra Modi about Gujarat massacre, Modi said that he would be pained even if a puppy was died. The dog has loyalty. But the Sanghis had no loyalty towards the country. In the beginning, they were the agents of Britishers. Now, they were the agents of big corporate companies. They were dividing the country in the name of religion, and caste, he said.
