Belagavi, May 23: Former MLA Sanjay Patil issued a controversial statement here on Wednesday that Congress and JDS have love marriage, but it is an illegal affair.
He ridiculed that this love marriage did not have consent from father and mother. Karnataka people would not accept this coalition government. Because the entire world knows that Kumaraswamy is a guilty of breaching the faith and Siddaramaiah is a cheater, he alleged.
DK Shivakumar is a big thief in the country. Today, all thieves have come together to form government and keep BJP away. Congress-JDS love marriage would end up in divorce in six months. Once again, BS Yeddyurappa will become the chief minister in the state, said.
This is not the first time that Sanjay Patil is giving such controversial statements. During election time also, he has said that the election was not being conducted for roads, drainages and drinking water in Karnataka. But it was being held between Hindus and Muslims, Rama Mandir and Babri Masjid. He was defeated in this election against Lakshmi Hebbalkar from Congress over a big margin of 50,000 votes.

Minor girl kidnapped and raped; main accused and two cafe owners held
Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
