Alleging careless attitude by Centre and State govt, Karnataka Congress holds protest in Belagavi
Belagavi: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Tuesday held a huge protest in the city’s Rani Chennamma Circle led by senior state party leaders against the state and central government. The protesting leaders added that both state and central government were ignoring the flood victims in the state.
Congress leaders added that the state, after being hit by severe floods this season required quick and adequate flood relief from the governments, but both centre and state government had failed to live up to the expectations of the people of the state.
Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao, MLA Satish Jarkiholi, Laxmi Hebbalkar, party leaders CM Ibrahim, MB Patil, S R Patil, MLC Ivan D’souza and others were present during the protest.

Over 105 flights cancelled, more than 450 services delayed due to fog at Delhi airport
New Delhi (PTI): More than 105 flights were cancelled and over 450 services delayed due to low-visibility conditions amid fog at the Delhi airport on Sunday.
An official said at least 55 arrivals and 52 departures were cancelled at the airport.
According to latest information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com, more than 450 flights were delayed and the average delay time was around 36 minutes for departures at the airport.
In a post on X in the evening, Delhi airport operator DIAL said operations are running smoothly.
DIAL operates the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), the country's largest airport that generally handles around 1,300 flights daily.
Flight operations have been disrupted for the past many days in Delhi and other airports due to dense fog.
