Bengaluru: City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Roa on Monday violated the law and protocol and reportedly entered Vidhan Sabha on uniform.
On Monday, when Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala entered the Vidhan Soudha to address the assembly, City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao who was escorting the governor in police uniform tried to enter along with him.
Rao was stopped by the Marshals of Vidhan Soudha who explained him about the rules and protocols that bars him from entering the assembly house in police uniform. Rao however, without paying heed to the interception of Marshals reportedly entered Vidhan Soudha violating the law.
The elected representatives have objected to the careless attitude of the top cop of the city.

Bengaluru (PTI): Seven people, including three children, were killed when the compound wall of a hospital collapsed here on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred in the Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, they added.
When the heavy rains, coupled with strong winds, battered the area, the seven victims were taking shelter near the wall, which suddenly came down crashing, police further said. All seven people were killed on the spot, they added.
According to police sources, the victims were street vendors.
Police and emergency services personnel rushed to the spot with an earthmover to bring out the bodies from the debris with the help of residents.
