BJP MP Sanganna Karadi joins Congress
Bengaluru: Former BJP MP Karadi Sanganna on Wednesday joined the Congress.
The two-time MP from Koppal has been upset with the BJP leadership for not giving him a ticket to contest the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Sanganna was welcomed into the party fold by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who is also the State Congress chief.

Fire in stationary coach of Hyderabad-Jaipur Special Train; no casualties
Hyderabad (PTI): A fire was noticed in an empty coach of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Train at the railway station here on Friday evening as it was being brought to a platform for departure.
No passengers were inside the train, and no injuries were reported. The fire was brought under control immediately. The affected coaches have been detached, the Secunderabad-headquartered South Central Railway said.
The train was being brought to the platform at 18:45 hours for its scheduled departure at 19:50 hours, it said.
