BJP people belong to family of those who killed Gandhi: Siddaramaiah
Bengaluru, Nov 30: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah lashed out at the BJP leaders saying that they have been speaking against cow slaughter and protecting cows despite they hailed from the clan of those who killed Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Speaking at a workshop on ‘Constitution’ held at the KPCC office here on Friday, Siddaramaiah said that those who speak about cow protection have not cleaned the cow dung or the waste once in their lifetime. “I have cleaned the cow dung, cleaned the cowshed. Did upper class people clean the cow dung once?” When asked KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and vice president BL Shankar present on the stage whether they have cleaned the dung or not, they said no.
Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde issued a statement on changing the Constitution. But both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah have not taken any action against him, which means they were also supporting his stand of changing the Constitution. He does not know whether BJP state president Yeddyurappa has read the Constitution or not. He might have read the Constitution for his selfish motive. BJP people have been opposing the Constitution right from the first day and they could not protect the Constitution, he said.

Belthangady: The family of late Ramlan Ajhari rebuilt the house of the late Ramlan Ajhari in a program held by Dakshina Kannada District Janiyyatul Muallimin in the premises of Kajur Perdadi Ajmer Khaja Juma Mosque on Thursday. The handover was performed by Khazi Shaikhuna Twakha Ahmed of South Kannada District, Musliyar.
