Bengaluru: Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar stated that the chargesheet is not a confidential document and becomes available once submitted to the court.

Addressing reporters near his residence in Sadashivnagar, Parameshwar mentioned that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation into the Rameswaram cafe blast case and highlighted the mention of a conspiracy to target the BJP office in the chargesheet.

When questioned about the chargesheet in the Renukaswamy murder case, the Home Minister clarified, "Once the chargesheet is submitted, it is provided to the opposing lawyer. No one can stop the information from coming out. It will be up to the court to decide the matter."

He further emphasised that public discussions do not influence court proceedings, which are strictly based on evidence and documents presented by the police during the trial.
