Sumalatha had alleged that Nikhil violated Code of Conduct while filing nomination papers
Mandya: The nomination papers filed by Nikhil Kumaraswamy from JD(S) party for the Mandya constituency have been approved by the Deputy Commissioner and local Election Commissioner Manjushree. The Chief Electoral Officer Ranjith Kumar gave clean chit to Manjushree in the matter.
The Chief Electoral Officer Ranjith Kumar informed the state’s Chief Election Commissioner that the allegations labeled by the election agent of Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh were baseless and not credible.
An FIR was filed at Mandya Police Station against the videographer who the complainant alleged did not capture the full video of what was happening when Nikhil was filing nomination as he was violating Model Code of Conduct.

Trump tells Fox News he's no longer sending Witkoff, Kushner to Pakistan for Iran talks
Islamabad (AP): President Donald Trump says he told top US envoys not to travel to Pakistan to negotiate with Iran, telling Fox News that "they can call us anytime they want.”
In a brief phone interview Saturday, Trump told Fox News that he told US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner “you're not going to be making any more 18 hour flights to sit around talking about nothing.”
Trump also said of the US side “we have all the cards.”
His comments came after the White House said Friday that Witkoff and Kushner would be heading to Pakistan for another round of negotiations with Iran.
