Bengaluru: Chief Minister B.S Yediyurappa, who had maintained silence on the issue of change in leadership has now broken his silence and finally given a response.

Speaking at the Vidhana Soudha on Thursday, he said, “Presently, my priorities are on the control of COVID-19 infections. My priority is to focus on the welfare of the people. No other issues are before me”, he responded.

“Whoever went to Delhi and returned, they have gotten their answers. Facing COVID is the first task. My attention is not focused on anything else”, Yediyurappa said.

“All must come together in a united manner to face COVID. The infection has spread to the state’s rural regions, therefore, ministers, MLAs must fight against COVID”, he said.

When asked about the Legislative party’s meeting, he responded that there was no need to openly discuss the meeting.
