Bengaluru: In view of the closure of the financial year 2024-25, Commercial tax offices in the state will remain open on March 30, Sunday and March 31 Monday.

The Department of Commercial Taxes, Government of Karnataka issued a press note in this regard on Friday March 28.

This is being done in order to facilitate last-minute tax-related activities and also to ensure a smooth financial year-end process for taxpayers.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has increased the sales tax on diesel to 21.17%, effective April 1, 2025.

As a result, the price of diesel has risen by ₹2 per liter, bringing the new price to ₹91.02 per liter.
