Bengaluru, May 24: KPCC Legal Cell has lodged a complaint against six persons of the BJP including party state president BS Yeddyurappa and MLA B Sriramulu for inducing the MLAs to support the BJP during the floor test in the Assembly.

On Thursday, KPCC Legal Cell general secretary Surya Mukund Raj who visited the ACP head office on Race Course Road in the city, lodged the written complaint against Yeddyurappa,  Sriramulu, MLC BJ Puttaswamy, Yeddyurappa’s son Vijayendra, Janardhana Reddy and BJP incharge Muralidhar Rao alleging that they have induced the Congress MLAs during the floor test. Yeddyurappa has taken oath as the Chief Minister on May 17. But as the BJP has no sufficient number of MLAs to prove the majority, the BJP leaders have tried to ‘purchase’ the MLAs by luring them. The KPCC Legal Cell has all documents related to the discussion of BJP leaders with the Congress MLAs. So, the ACB should take this issue seriously and take action against them, he demanded.

The BJP has lured the MLAs of money and power to support it during floor test. The Congress has the voice records of the leaders who spoke to its MLAs. The ACB should consider this charge seriously and register FIR against them under Anti-Corruption Act 1998 and investigate the issue, he demanded.
