Bengaluru, December 23: "Congress leaders have been justifying for not considering me for minister post by saying that I am aged. But there are a few senior leaders in the cabinet. Are there two different justice for me and others", senior MLA Ramalinga Reddy said.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, he said that RV Deshapande, KJ George, Dr G Parameshwar, DK Shivakumar were also senior politicians. They became ministers for more than one time. Then why there was double standard, he asked.

There were people in the Congress who conspire against him right from the beginning. But he wouldn't disclose their name's. Though he did not ask minister post. But he has doubts about the criteria followed for giving ministerial berths. "No leader has contacted me before expanding the cabinet. Now also, none of them have contacted me. Even for courtesy sake, no leader has spoken to me", he said.

Responding to the rumours that BJP leaders were in contact with the dissidents in the Congress, Reddy said that " my own party men have spoken to me. Then why would leaders of other parties speak to me? I am basically Congress man. No one could touch me", he said.

"I won't desert Congress just because I was not considered for minister post. I would work to place Congress in the Lok Sabha. There's no doubt in it".
