Cong plans to take all MLA's to resort
Bengaluru, May 16: As the dust is not yet settled on who is going to form the government, the Congress has planned to take all its 78 MLA's to a resort as part of its strategy to protect its MLA's from possible horse trading by the BJP.
The Congress has decided to take all of them to Eagleton Resort near Bidadi in Ramanagar taluk and buses were kept ready at the KPCC office. It is said that over 100 rooms were booked in the resort and DK Shivakumar and Dr G Parameshwar were entrusted the responsibility of taking all the MLA's to the resort.

Minor girl kidnapped and raped; main accused and two cafe owners held
Latur (PTI): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by an 18-year-old man in Latur, leading to the arrest of the main accused and owners of two cafes where the crime occurred on December 4, police said on Saturday.
Police traced the girl within hours of registering the complaint. The accused, identified as Rihan Gulab Shaikh, was arrested based on the girl's complaint. Two others are owners of two cafes where the crime occurred, police said.
Police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), POCSO Act, and the Prevention of Atrocities Act, an official said.
