Bengaluru: The Congress government in the state is fearing its collapse. It will fall if Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes back to power at the centre, said former Minister and BJP leader R. Ashoka in Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday.

Addressing reporters here at Vidhana Soudha he stated that, “ The congress is scared that its government will collapse post Lok Shaba elections. The 100 days of the Congress government in power, are the days of darkness. Not a single developmental work has been carried out during the tenure of the Congress. Contractors across most of the places have stopped working.” He criticized the government by saying that in the last hundred days, the development in the state has not only become stagnated but has been completely stopped.

“The current government is standing at the same stage, where ours (BJP’s) was standing during our tenure. No new projects have been launched anywhere in the state. A major city like Bengaluru is experiencing load shedding due to the Congress government’s free electricity scheme. In the meantime, contractors across the state are protesting,” informed Ashoka.
