Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) and city police arrested four persons, including a foreign national, in separate anti-narcotics operations in Bengaluru and seized drugs worth over ₹1.2 crore, police said.
According to The New Indian Express, in the first operation, the Anti-Narcotics Wing of the CCB arrested Uche Ndudi (25), a Nigerian national residing within the limits of KR Puram police station.
Police said Ndudi had come to India in 2025 on a medical visa but continued to stay in the city even after the visa expired. During this period, he allegedly procured drugs from another foreign national, who is currently absconding.
Police seized 101 grams of cocaine worth ₹50.6 lakh from his possession.
In a separate case, the CCB arrested Chesed Akash, a DJ from Meghalaya residing in Begur, for allegedly peddling 481 grams of hydro ganja valued at ₹48 lakh.
Meanwhile, in another operation, the Vivek Nagar police arrested two drug peddlers from Odisha, Sanjith Bhaga (35) and Mithun Kumbar (18). Based on a tip-off, police nabbed the accused and seized 21.2 kg of ganja worth Rs 21 lakh.
Further investigation is under way, police said.

Lucknow (PTI): Adverse weather forced an IndiGo Kolkata-Patna flight to make an emergency landing at Lucknow airport on Friday, airport sources said.
According to airport officials, weather conditions in Patna deteriorated suddenly on Friday afternoon, affecting flight operations.
IndiGo flight 6E 6917 from Kolkata, which was scheduled to land in Patna at 3.50 pm, could not land due to bad weather and kept circling in the air after failing to get clearance from air traffic control, they said.
The flight was later diverted to Lucknow and landed safely at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at around 5.15 pm. There were 180 passengers and six crew members on board, officials said.
The aircraft was later allowed to depart for Patna after weather conditions improved.
