Bengaluru, June 7: Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar said that though many leaders have missed the berths in the cabinet, he has never hated anybody.
After holding a meeting with the Ambassador of France at Kumara Krupa guest house here on Thursday, the DCM told reporters that remaining seats in the cabinet would also be filled soon. All MLAs of the Congress have the intention of giving a stable government in the state. there is no question of hating anybody. "I would ask support from all. We should go together giving no scope for petty issues.
I would pacify those who are upset over the developments. Seniors were not inducted into the cabinet. I have never said they would not get opportunity again", he said.
All the ministers who have taken oath were not yet given portfolios, but they have informed that they are ready to take up any responsibility. They are ready to extend their support for the smooth running of the government. Before deciding on filling the cabinet, AICC president Rahul Gandhi, former chief minister and Coordination Committee Chairman Siddaramaiah and Congress in-charge in Karnataka KC Venugopal discussed and finalised, he said.
After discussing with Mallikarjuna Kharge, KH Muniyappa, Dinesh Gundu Rao separately, they have finalised the list of 15 members. So, many would get the chance in future. As per the party high command decision, the ministers would be evaluated once in every six months.
If the Ministers showed poor performance, they would be changed, he said.
Responding on MB Patil, Dr Parameshwar said that "I have tolerated the insult for the last eight years. Patil is my close friend. So, I would go to him and convince. I don't have any issues. Even Kuruba community is also considered while giving the place in the cabinet", he said.
Won't fall prey to BJP
After the expansion of the cabinet, the BJP is trying to attract disgruntled MLAs. But the Congress MLAs would not fall prey to their strategies. As the cabinet would be reshuffled, all the disgruntled would also be given chances.

Pune, Nov 16: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis continued to raise the pitch on "vote jihad" by playing a video of Islamic scholar Sajjad Nomani at a poll rally in Pune's Bhosari area on Saturday.
It is being said that a person who votes for the BJP must be ostracised, Fadnavis claimed.
"If these people are trying to do vote jihad, if they are saying they will destabilise the government through vote jihad, then you will also have to do dharmayudh of votes," Fadnavis said.
"If these people dream that they will come to power with the help of votes from one community in the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, then you will also have to come to the battlefield," he said in a swipe at the MVA.
