"I am quiet only because of alliance government": Siddaramaiah's response to H Vishwanath's remarks
Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader and chairman of alliance government’s co-ordination committee has expressed his displeasure over criticism by JD(S) national president H Vishwanath.
“I will take up the issue of that criticism in the coordination committee meeting. First G T Devegowda, now Vishwanath I don’t know who will criticize me next. JD(S) high command should look into the issue where their leaders are targeting me” Siddaramaiah tweeted in the wake of H Vishwanath’s remarks against him.
“It is the ethics of coalition government that has kept me bound of keeping my mouth shut. Hence I will not respond to the irresponsible statements of H Vishwanath. He (Vishwanath) is known for such silly remarks and statements” he said in another tweet.

Trump says suspect was armed with multiple weapons at WH correspondents' dinner
Washington (PTI): President Donald Trump is addressing reporters at the White House after he and other top leaders of the United States were evacuated from an annual dinner of White House correspondents on Saturday night after a shooting incident outside the ballroom.
Trump said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons before stopped by Secret Service. One officer was shot, but he was protected by a bulletproof vest.
“He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun, and the vest did the job,” Trump said.
