Bengaluru, June 18: Strongly reacting to Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik’s statement “ISI agent”, MLC CM Ibrahim said that he has not made any personal allegation against Mutalik, but he only demanded investigation into the case to know who influenced those youth to commit the crime and which is the ‘head office’ behind the act?
After taking oath as the MLC at the Vidhana Soudha Conference Hall here on Monday, he told media persons Mutalik should not speak like ‘Acharavillada Nalige’ (the tongue which does not know the culture) and spoil the situation of the country. Everyone should live like the children of a single mother, he said.
“The main accused in Gauri Lankesh murder case has admitted to the crime. It was a preplanned crime. I will tell Mutalik and Ananth Kumar Hegde that human life is not eternal. In a short span of life, one should live happily, because we will be in politics just for five years”, he analysed.
Only the police and the court of law could able to control the terrorism. If the people belonging to particular religions and communities failed to control such acts, the country would have to face serious problems, he warned.
“Pramod Mutalik calls me as an ISI agent. But people in the state know very well who is Mutalik. Let the God give him good knowledge and thoughts. I would not say anything about it. I am working as per the principle of Basavanna. I don’t know any ISI”, he said.
On presenting new budget, Ibrahim said that if Chief Minister Kumaraswamy wanted, let him present the new budget.

Mumbai (PTI): A ball python, generally found in Africa, has been rescued from a residential area in Mumbai, a wildlife welfare group representative said on Thursday.
The reptile was found abandoned at a housing society in Mahim last week, triggering panic in the area.
After being alerted, members of a wildlife welfare NGO reached the spot, rescued the snake and handed it over to the forest department, he said.
The ball python is not native to India. Hence, the reptile found here is suspected to be a lost or abandoned illegal pet, the Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) said.
The forest department is investigating the matter to initiate necessary action, it said.
The snake will be rehabilitated in consultation with experts from RAWW, the NGO said.
