Karnataka: Congress suspends seven office bearers of Kolar District for anti-party activities
Bengaluru: Seven Congress leaders including the Kolar District Congress President were on Friday suspended from the party citing anti-party activities as they had issued statements against KPCC President and AICC Secretary.
Former secretary Kumar, former President of Kolar Municipal Council Ataullah, Congress Minority Department Vice President Iqbal Ahmed, SC Wing’s District President K Jaydev, ST Wing’s District President Nagraj and L Kaleel along with Party’s District President Prasad Babu were suspended from the party.
The orders were issued by KPCC General Secretary V Y Ghorpade on Friday suspending the seven member from the party.

Rajsthan Royals beat Punjab Kings by 6 wickets
Mullanpur (PTI): Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in their Indian Premier League match here on Tuesday.
Invited to bat, opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 59 up front while Marcus Stoinis provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls as Punjab Kings posted 222 for 4.
The Royals then put up a collective batting effort to overhaul the target with four balls to spare.
Earlier, leg spinner Yash Punja picked up two wickets for the visitors.
