Karnataka HC extends temporary relief given to Former CM Yediyurappa in POCSO case
Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has extended the temporary relief granted to former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa in connection with a POCSO case. The decision came during a hearing on his petition to quash the case, where an additional charge sheet was recently filed against him.
During the proceedings, CID Special Public Prosecutor Ashok Naik requested additional time to submit the charge sheet. Yediyurappa’s lawyer, Nagesh, strongly contested the delay, stating that if the trial proceeds, it could lead to his client's imprisonment.
The court has scheduled the next hearing for September 5, 2024, and maintained the interim order protecting Yediyurappa from arrest until then.

The pizza, known as "Goblin Pizza," features a thick crust, red sauce, a layer of parsley, and a whole deep-fried bullfrog as the centerpiece. The frog's "eyes" are created with halved hard-boiled eggs, each topped with a black olive, making for a visually striking presentation. According to Korean news outlet Maeil Business Newspaper, the unusual offering is a collaboration with Dungeons and Dragons, inspired by a character from the game.
