Karnataka HC tells govt to make second attempt to discuss Chittapur guard of honour issue with RSS
Kalaburagi: Karnataka High Court has directed the state government to reschedule a meeting with the RSS to discuss organizing the RSS guard of honour in Chittapur, as the earlier meeting in Kalaburagi on October 28 failed to produce returns.
The state government was told by the HC Kalaburagi single-judge bench of Justice MGS Kamal to make arrangements for the meeting with RSS leaders at the Bengaluru office on November 5. Justice Kamal also told the government that the Advocate General Shashikiran Shetty would chair the meeting.
The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for November 7.

Fire in stationary coach of Hyderabad-Jaipur Special Train; no casualties
Hyderabad (PTI): A fire was noticed in an empty coach of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Train at the railway station here on Friday evening as it was being brought to a platform for departure.
No passengers were inside the train, and no injuries were reported. The fire was brought under control immediately. The affected coaches have been detached, the Secunderabad-headquartered South Central Railway said.
The train was being brought to the platform at 18:45 hours for its scheduled departure at 19:50 hours, it said.
